Toilet
The Nature’s Head composting toilet separates liquids and solids into different compartments to reduce odors and simplify waste management. Liquids drain into a separate container, while solids collect in a composting chamber where natural processes break them down. You simply add a small amount of composting material after each use, and the system requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for off-grid living.
Shower
The van does not have an indoor shower. During my travels, I used gym facilities for showers. When off-grid, I used a simple outdoor shower purchased from Amazon, which works great for quick rinses and freshening up.
If you’re looking for a fully built-in shower, this van doesn’t currently have one.
Privacy setup for toilet
The Nature’s Head composting toilet is mounted on a sliding rack that tucks neatly under the cabinets when not in use. When needed, it slides out of a tucked-away space, providing privacy and convenience without taking up permanent room in the van.
